Experience the magic of gorilla trekking in Uganda without breaking the bank on this affordable 3 days budget safari. This tour is designed for travelers who want to fulfill their dream of seeing mountain gorillas up close while staying in comfortable yet budget-friendly lodges. You’ll travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to nearly half of the world’s mountain gorillas, and spend an unforgettable hour in the presence of these gentle giants.
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in southwestern Uganda is one of the most extraordinary places on Earth to experience gorilla trekking. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas, making it a premier destination for travelers seeking close encounters with these gentle giants. Trekking through Bwindi’s dense jungle is an adventure in itself — the forest is thick, ancient, and alive with a rich diversity of wildlife, including colorful birds, butterflies, and primates. Guided by expert rangers, trekkers hike along rugged trails in search of habituated gorilla families, and once found, they get to spend a magical hour observing these majestic creatures as they forage, play, and interact in their natural habitat.
