Tour Overview
6 Day Gorillas & Masai Mara adventure showcases the very best of the region’s wildlife and culture, taking you across three incredible countries — Rwanda, Uganda, and Kenya. Combining mountain gorilla trekking with classic savannah safaris, this journey offers two of Africa’s most iconic experiences in one unforgettable trip.
Your safari begins in Rwanda, with a scenic drive through the rolling hills into Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, home to the endangered mountain gorillas. Here, you’ll set out on a once-in-a-lifetime gorilla trekking experience, hiking through the dense rainforest to spend a magical hour observing a gorilla family up close in their natural habitat — a rare and deeply moving wildlife encounter.
Beyond the forest, the journey includes meaningful cultural experiences, such as visiting the Batwa (Pygmy) community, the original people of the forest, where you’ll learn about their traditions and way of life. Along the way, you’ll also enjoy scenic countryside views and memorable travel moments before returning to Rwanda for your flight onward to Kenya.
The adventure continues in the legendary Maasai Mara, famous for its vast golden plains and exceptional wildlife viewing. Exciting game drives give you the chance to spot Africa’s Big Five and other savannah species, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, bat-eared foxes, elephants, and a wide variety of birds.
From misty rainforest mountains to endless savannah landscapes, this cross-country safari blends gorillas, wildlife, culture, and breathtaking scenery into one seamless journey. Starting in Rwanda and ending in Kenya, it promises lifelong memories and the true spirit of East African adventure.
