Day 1: ARRIVAL AND TRANSFER TO HOTEL IN KAMPALA.
Upon arrival, you will be picked from the airport by our driver guide and transfer you to Kampala, with a great drive to the beautiful city of Kampala, for dinner
Day 2: TRANSFER TO KIBALE NATIONAL PARK.
In the morning, you will set off a relaxed drive through the verdant countryside to Kibale Forest National park with on route stops for sightseeing including the distant views of the country side. You will reach Kibale Forest NP in the afternoon and spend the evening relaxing at the lodge, overlooking the beautiful tea gardens,
Day 3: CHIMPANZEE TRACKING AND BIGODI NATURE WALK
In the morning, you will set off to the park headquarters for briefing before going for Chimpanzee tracking, where you may encounter other primates like Vervet Monkeys, Blue Hoest Monkeys, Black and white colobus Monkeys among others. Return to the lodge for Lunch and in the afternoon; go for a nature walk to the Bigodi wetland sanctuary for swamp walk, primate and bird viewing, the walk can take roughly 2 hours
Day 4: TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NP.
In the morning, after relaxed breakfast, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP for afternoon game drives in the park anticipating seeing a variety of Wildlife species. You will later drive to your lodge to have some rest in the afternoon, as you have a stunning view of the Kazinga channel, coloured with plenty of wildlife seen at a distance, as you proceed to your lodge for an evening leisure at the lodge as you relax by the pool side.
Day 5: MORNING GAME DRIVE AND AFTERNOON LAUNCH CRUISE
In the morning, you will go for an early morning game drive to the Kasenyi area for more game viewing anticipating seeing a variety of wildlife species including the big cats and several antelope species. You will later return to the lodge for a late breakfast and lunch. In the afternoon, gather at the Kazinga channel for a launch trip that will reward you with sights of hippos and crocodiles among other animals. Overnight and dinner at Mweya Safari lodge (luxury) or Parkview Safari lodge (Midrange lodge) or Kazinga Wilderness Camp (standard). Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
Day 6: GAME DRIVE AND TRANSFER TO BWINDI NATIONAL PARK.
In the morning, you will set off a spectacular drive to Bwindi national park via Ishasha sector where you will have game drive in search of tree climbing lions.
Day 7: GORILLA TRACKING AND TRANSFER TO KIGALI.
Early morning, with packed lunch, you will go to the park headquarters for briefing before embarking on the gorilla tracking adventure. The gorilla trekking is always referred to as a life time moment, as it leaves with a great experience of meeting the gorillas face to face in the jungle. You will be given an hour upon finding the gorillas to take a great moment with them as you watching the juveniles swing from one tree branch to another. You will return for lunch at the lodge, for lunch. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to Kigali, with a great view of the country side, if time permits, do a Kigali city tour with a visit to the genocide memorial ground.
Day 8: TRANSFER TO KIGALI AIRPORT.
In the morning, depending with your flight time, you will check out of the hotel and be transferred to the airport to catch up with your flight back home. End of the 8 Days Uganda Gorilla Encounter Adventure Safari.
