Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Mabamba Wetland Birding
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, meet your Marvel Gorilla Adventures driver-guide. Depending on your arrival time, transfer to Mabamba Wetland for a guided birding excursion in search of the famous shoebill stork and other wetland bird species.
Enjoy a canoe ride through the wetland channels while observing the rich birdlife.

Day 2: Entebbe – Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary – Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, depart for Murchison Falls National Park with a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Enjoy a guided rhino-tracking experience on foot, giving you an opportunity to see southern white rhinos in their natural environment.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise – Transfer to Bwindi
After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning before heading out for an afternoon boat cruise along the famous Kazinga Channel. Look out for large concentrations of hippos, crocodiles, elephants along the riverbanks and a variety of waterbirds.
After the boat cruise, depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Enjoy the scenic drive through Uganda’s countryside and arrive at your lodge in the evening.

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi – Evening Community Birding
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers before beginning your mountain gorilla trekking experience.
Trek through the lush forest in search of a habituated gorilla family. Once you locate the gorillas, spend one precious hour observing these magnificent primates in their natural habitat.
After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation.
